What’s so special about damask rose extract?

Damask rose extract is sourced from Rose Valley, Bulgaria and is extracted with a sustainable approach using only water as a solvent. It was selected out of 200 species for its specific composition and characteristics including helping to attract and retain moisture while strengthening the skin’s barrier to protect from water loss. Retaining hydration and deep hydration is possible due to a strengthened skin barrier.

Why include two hyaluronic acids in the moisturiser?

Your skin naturally loses water from both the surface and deeper layers of the epidermis, so it’s important to have hyaluronic acid with different molecular weights to be able to hydrate skin at both levels:
-High molecular weight (1,500 kDA) hyaluronic acid instantly hydrates the skin’s surface.
-Low molecular weight (50 kDA) hyaluronic acid instantly hydrates the deeper layers of the epidermis to maintain deep hydration.

What is deep hydration?

This term refers to a specific in-depth hydration measurement taken on the skin. With this test, we are able to prove that our Rose Deep Hydration Face Cream instantly hydrates with a scientifically proven moisturising effect on the deeper layers of the epidermis 72 hours after application.
